Applications for the coming academic year (Year 2017-2018, starting in September 2017)

Applications are now accepted.

Applications are common to the two French schools in Abu Dhabi : Lycée Louis-Massignon and Lycée Théodore-Monod. You are invited when filling your application to let us know what your first choice is. Admissions are decided by a committee.

Admissions process

This process must be followed thoroughly. No other means of application will be considered. We are unable to process incomplete applications.

Before applying please read :

How to apply in 4 steps

Step 1: Fill in our online form  Informations responsables  (Guardians’ details : click on the upper right side button to switch languages) and download the PDF file thanks to the link you will find in the confirmation e-mail. You will be asked to upload this PDF file in step 4. Please name this pdf file with the name of Guardian 1.

Step 2:  Fill inour online form Informations élèves (Student’s details : click on the upper right side button to switch languages) and download the PDF file thanks to the link you will find in the confirmation e-mail. You will be asked to upload this PDF file in step 4. Please name this pdf file with the name and first name of student. Repeat this step for each child.

Step 3: Prepare a PDF file with complementary information (all in one file; repeat this step for each child):

  1. proof of citizenship (passport or ID or, if not available, birth statement)
  2. attendance certificate from current school
  3. grade report for current year (2016-2017) and past year (2015-2016).

Step 4: fill in online our form  Demande d’admission (click on the upper right side button to switch languages) in which you will have to upload the three files from step 1 to 3. Repeat this step for each child.

Timeline

  • Applications entered before January 15: decision before January 31
  • Applications entered before February 15: decision before February 28
  • Applications entered before March 12: decision before March 30
  • Applications entered before April 15: decision before April 30
  • Applications entered before May 15 mai: decision before May 31
  • Applications entered before June 10: decision before June 30
  • Applications entered before June 30 juin: decision before July 10
  • Applications entered after June 30: decision in the week before back to school day.

How are the decisions notified?

Decision are notified by e-mail to the address provided in the application form.

Make sure to check your spam mailbox around the dates given in the timeline; our e-mails are sometimes rejected because of our mass e-mailings.

You will be informed of the last steps for enrollment in the acceptation e-mail.

Is there an application fee?

There is no application fee. However, you will have to give an advance payment on next year fees upon acceptation. This advance payment will secure the seat.
